Channel 4 TV series looking for families
doing something different

Are you taking a career break, packing up the kids and heading off to
experience once-in-a-lifetime adventures in foreign lands?

Are you planning on taking timeout to do something
extra-ordinary with your little ones in tow?

Set on giving your children an education in life
that simply can’t be matched in a classroom?

An exciting new Channel 4 documentary have approached www.grownupgapyear.co.uk to help them find families who are thinking about taking a family gap year.  The programmes will explore the growing phenomenon of parents who put ‘normal’ life on the backburner to venture off into the big wide world and experience something extraordinary with their children. Perhaps it’s the lure of spending quality time with the children; maybe the move is born out of a need to escape the rat-race or it could just be the desire to give the kids a once-in-a-lifetime education. Whatever the reason, whether it’s a 3 month journey or an 18 month voyage, it seems there is a growing trend of families taking imeout, career breaks or 'gap years'; to do something'out of the norm';

If you or someone you know is planning a family trip with a difference, we'd love to hear from you.

Please note: at least one of the children travelling should be aged 16 or under.
