Coconut warning - Malaysia

Savannah's Malaysia Gap year Journal - Aged 9

Today we were leaving Singapore we were heading to Malaysia. We had to catch A taxi from the Singapore hotel who took us to the wrong place there we had to catch a boring bus, then we were informed some good news we had get to on to a different fancy air conditioning car. With another nice French family with 2 children one was 6 and her name was Sarah too. But I couldn’t understand a single word she said because she spoke French.

We had to drive for 3 hours when we got there we had to get on a motorboat to get to the island when we got there it paradise. After we had a play with Sarah, we headed for the beach and surfed the waves. After that we had a lipsmackerous lunch, then we headed for the beach once again. I fell in love with it. We also found tons of coconuts, we buried them so that they could grow again.

Today we are leaving malaysia and heading once again to singapore (yippee). It was pouring with rain when we were loding our suitcases on to the bus we were wearing hats so it made a really weird noise when the rain fell on to them. When we got onto the bus the seats were so comptorble they even lay almost flat and had a foot rest.

The bus was Long, fun and sometimes boring.
When we got of the bus we were worried and excited because we hadn’t bookeded anywhere to stay.We had sore shoulders from carring really heavy suitcases over a high bridge with stairs at each end and we hd to carry them. When we got over the bridge at  we entered a shopping and everybody stared at us because of all the suitcases. We caught are self a Taxi we told him to go to Y.W.C.A.

We said to Eliza that she had to book us a acommodation the man thought that she asked so nicely that he gave us free breafast  and a room with a veiw. We got a bit hungry so we went to the food court the food really tasty I had Thai sweet and sour chicken Eliza had the same but with pork mummy shared some with us after that we some window shopping. We found some ipod speakers unfortyantly mum didn’t have her credit. After that we were starting to get tired so we went back to bed

Last night I couldn’t get to sleep, it was weird sleeping under mosquito nets. We woke up extra early this morning, at dawn and went down to the beach. It is Nw Years eve today so we better have a nap this afternoon or else we wont be able to stay awake tonight.

Today we mainly relaxing and swimming although I don’t like the sand flies. Eliza got nine bites on her leg.
