Cross Packing

This is not packing in a temper ;-)
(Which is not to say that this never happened!)
When we flew I made sure that we ‘cross packed’. In other words, each suitcase held a mix of each of our clothes and belongings.

It took little effort to do

It meant that the kids didn't argue (ish) about whose case they were carrying because what they carried were all mixed up anyway.

I also divided the toiletries between the three cases so at least we always had something of the basics
While the girls could probably have worn each other’s clothes I would have been a bit stuck had my bag gone astray.

Joe and Manny sold their home, most of their possessions and bought a Leyland bus and set off around the world in July 2007
With them are their four children, Bethany, Arthur, Harry and Luke.
